Yes, all vendors you’ve seen a lot of in the way back days of VSU. And YES, it’s at Pine Box Rock Shop! We’ve been trying to pull this off for a few years, so really, don’t miss it! Many vendors of yesteryear have moved away, moved on, expanded, evolved, and dissolved, so it’s an intimate one! We’ve gone the extra mile for our anniversary and V-Day to make it an extra special VSU, since ya know, it’ll be different than all the others we’ve had! More vendors, more variety, new things, Valentines specials, more GF, wide price range… and a RAFFLE! No time like the NOW to gather goods for sharing/gifting/hoarding!

PLUS! Each order will receive a Limited Edition 11th Annual V-Day VSU magnet at pick up!

This year’s RAFFLE will be virtual! Previous years we’ve hosted free raffles at the Valentines VSU, but this year it will take place on IG, and the week before V-Day! Followers will have a chance to win e-gift certificates from a variety of local vegan friends and businesses! Prizes will be emailed. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, we’ll be donating a portion of Feb vendor fees to NICE! They are an NYC non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of immigrant workers and their families, focusing on workers’ rights, skill training, certification, fair wages, job placement, and dignified employment in a safe workplace. Here’s to spreading the love!

As with every other event in NYC, we’re having to rethink the logistics and procedures for the future of VSU! We want to continue as a platform for small businesses and supportive shoppers while keeping everyone as safe as possible. Working with Pine Box Rock Shop, we’ve devised a system to jump back in the game and GET YOU FED.

Here’s the gist..

• We’re showcasing a select few vendor faves with special menus for you to pre order, pre pay, and pick up goods from!
• The first VSU 2GO pick up date will be Saturday, May 16th!
• There’s a limited number of orders we can take to ensure safe n spacious pick ups, so we encourage you to order with a friend! 
• You’ll be able to request your preferred pick up time and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
• To meet the order form minimum you must order from atleast 3 of the participating vendors!
• If your order is accepted you’ll be invoiced afterwards, separately from each vendor you ordered with!
• No vendors will be on site or in sight on 5/16, just one VSU rep that will hand over your complete order upon arrival.

A FAVORITE RECIPE..
Check The Rhyme (green smoothie) this is my favorite smoothie EVER!

1 cup kale
1 cup mango
1/2 cup peach
1.5 inch ginger
1-2 tbsp bee free honey
1.5 cups plant milk
*blend until all flecks of kale are gone (about 4 min)
*if you’re using fresh fruit add a little ice to the mix ENJOY!!
